Unicorn Land Adventures

In Unicorn Land Adventures, your child steps into a magical world filled with unicorns, castles, and enchanted paths, while learning the foundations of coding and engineering through play. This beginner-friendly camp blends game development with a hands-on STEM Gadget Maker experience. In the morning, campers use SCRATCH to animate characters, build interactive stories, and explore how games work. In the afternoon, they shift to making mode, designing and building a unicorn-themed gadget using cardboard and recycled materials. Designed especially for ages 5–7, this camp focuses on creativity, confidence, and problem-solving

No prior coding or building experience required.

Camp Learning Journey

Day 1: Welcome to Unicorn Land - Coding Fundamentals

Morning: Campers are introduced to Unicorn Land and explore how stories and games are created. Using ScratchJr, your child learns coding basics by animating unicorn characters and placing blocks in sequence.

Afternoon: Campers begin planning their unicorn-themed STEM gadget. They explore materials, sketch ideas, and learn how everyday objects can be turned into creative inventions.

Day 2: Magical Movements - Character Animation & Simple Mechanisms

Morning: Your child programs unicorns to move, spin, and explore their world. Campers learn how changing the order of blocks changes what happens on screen.

Afternoon: Maker time focuses on creating movement using simple, manual mechanisms. Campers begin building parts of their unicorn gadget using cardboard and recyclables, testing how pushing, pulling, or turning creates motion.

Day 3: Game Logic & Unicorn Build

Morning: Campers add interactions and simple logic to their ScratchJr projects, such as reaching a goal or triggering an action. They practice fixing mistakes and improving their designs.

Afternoon: Your child continues building and refining their unicorn gadget, improving structure and movement through testing and redesign.

Short Week - No Camp on July 1st, 2026

Day 4: Refine, Showcase & Celebration

Morning: Campers make final improvements to both their digital projects and physical builds. They practice explaining how their creations work.

Afternoon: The camp ends with a joyful Unicorn Showcase & Celebration, where campers proudly share their creations and celebrate everything they’ve learned.
