UNITY - COSMIC ENTERPRISE - GALACTIC TYCOON

In Cosmic Enterprise: Galactic Tycoon, teens in AI become system designers and simulation engineers, building a 3D VR space-themed tycoon game using Unity and C#. 

UNITY VR - AI DEEP camp challenges teens to design intelligent, dynamic games from resource management and automated production to NPC behaviour and economic balance. Students build a living galaxy where decisions matter, and systems react. This camp introduces teens to AI as systems thinking, showing how intelligence emerges from rules, data, and feedback loops.

It’s an ideal experience for students interested in AI, game design, simulations, economics, or engineering.

Solution Topic

On your way to creating your own Metaverse, Campers will explore:

  • What rules govern the Metaverse? 

  • Should they be the same as the physical world? 


  • Developing for Virtual Reality:

  • Understanding physics and the movements of a 3D world.

Teens explore foundational AI systems used in simulation and strategy games, including: 

  • Rule-based decision systems

  • NPC automation and behaviour logic

  • Feedback loops and system states

  • Adaptive responses to player actions

  • Simulation balancing and optimization

This camp emphasizes AI as systems intelligence, not combat or animation.

Camp Learning Journey

Day 1: Building the Galaxy


Unity & Simulation Foundations Teens explore Unity and begin constructing a 3D galactic environment. Students learn scene management, assets, and foundational C# scripts to support simulation gameplay.

Day 2: Systems & Resources 


Designing the Economy: Students design resource systems, production chains, and scoring mechanics. Teens explore how systems interact and how player decisions influence outcomes.

Day 3: NPCs & Automation 


Intelligent Space Operations: Teens introduce AI-driven NPC behaviour. Students implement rule-based logic, so NPCs respond to supply, demand, and system state.

Day 4: Adaptive Simulation


Smarter Galaxies Students enhance their simulation with adaptive systems, such as: Changing demand, Resource scarcity, and Automated optimization. Teens explore how AI systems evolve as conditions change.

Day 5: Balance, Optimization & Galactic Showcase


Students refine and balance their simulations, test edge cases, and optimize performance. Camp concludes with a Galactic Tycoon Showcase, where teens present their simulations and explain how their AI systems function.

Friday Fun Day

Camp ends with a Galactic Tycoon Showcase, where teens demo their simulations, explain system design choices, and share how AI drives their galaxy’s behaviour.
