Step into a world of sparkle, curiosity, and creativity! In Fairy Dust, Slime, and Magic Potions, your child becomes a magical storyteller and young scientist—mixing imagination with coding and hands-on STEM exploration.
In the mornings, campers use ScratchJr to create interactive fairy-tale stories, magical animations, and playful games. In the afternoons, they transform into potion makers, exploring chemistry-inspired STEM projects like slime, colour-changing mixtures, and sensory creations.
Designed especially for ages 4 - 5 and 6 - 7, this beginner-friendly camp blends creative coding with hands-on making, helping children build confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills through play.

Day 1: Welcome to the Magic Realm - Coding Fundamentals
Morning:
Campers are introduced to the magical theme and explore how stories and games are created. Using ScratchJr, your child learns how coding blocks work by animating magical characters and scenes.
Afternoon:
Campers explore what “magic” means in science by observing colours, textures, and reactions. They begin planning their first magic potion–inspired STEM project.
Day 2: Magical Movements - Animation & Mixing Basics
Morning:
Your child programs characters to fly, sparkle, and move through enchanted worlds. Campers learn how changing the order of blocks changes what happens on screen.
Afternoon:
Maker time introduces simple mixing and material science concepts. Campers experiment with textures and colours as they create their first batch of slime or a sensory mixture.
Day 3: Game Logic & Potion Creation
Morning:
Campers add interactions and simple logic to their ScratchJr projects, such as tapping a character to trigger a magical event. They practice fixing mistakes and improving their designs.
Afternoon:
Campers create more advanced potion or slime variations, experimenting with consistency, color, and sparkle while practicing careful observation and following steps.
Day 4: Project Customization & Testing
Morning:
Your child personalizes their magical story or game with new scenes, characters, and animations. Campers test their projects and learn how small changes improve results.
Afternoon:
Maker time focuses on refining potion recipes, creatively packaging them, and understanding how different ingredients affect outcomes.
Day 5: Magical Showcase & Celebration
Morning:
Campers make final improvements to their ScratchJr projects and prepare to share their creations.
Afternoon:
The week ends with a joyful Magical Showcase, where campers share their stories, display their potions or slime creations, and celebrate their magical journey together.
