Toy World with MICRO:BITS

Introduce your little ones to the world of Robotics and Circuits at our Robotics Circuits camp. This is an exciting week of learning to design, build, and code smart little Toy Pets that are fun to play with while they solve real-world problems!

BONUS: MICRO:BIT and accompanying motor and sensors are complementary. Students will take the entire project (except SPIKE Components) home.

Design, Experiment, Build

Kids will explore: 


  • How will you make your perfect toy smart? 

  • What would it look like? 

  • Will it be a cuddly, or will it be a speedy bot? How will you make it SMART? 

  • Will it sing to you at night or light up only when dark? 

  • Or will it feed your dog when you are not at home?

Kids will: 

  • Learn the engineering design process for product design

  • Ideate, brainstorm what makes a toy fun and SMART ? 

  • Learn about simple machines and fundamentals of Robotics 

  • Coding fundamentals 

  • Build circuits with motors and sensors to design and build exciting SMART TOY with Micro:bit that can Move on command or light up in dark or make sounds - You Decide!

In the Iterative design thinking approach, Campers will: 


Learn about Engineering Design Process


Work with Motors and smart sensors 


Set up simple to smart circuits 


Deisgn and build the Product 


Take a deep dive into Coding Fundamentals to make their creations come to life 


Friendly intro to AI

Friday Fun Day

Parents are invited to join the expo on Friday, where campers will showcase their creations.
