Toy World with MICRO:BITS
Introduce your little ones to the world of Robotics and Circuits at our Robotics Circuits camp. This is an exciting week of learning to design, build, and code smart little Toy Pets that are fun to play with while they solve real-world problems!
BONUS: MICRO:BIT and accompanying motor and sensors are complementary. Students will take the entire project (except SPIKE Components) home.

Solution Topic
Design, Experiment, Build
Kids will explore:
How will you make your perfect toy smart?
What would it look like?
Will it be a cuddly, or will it be a speedy bot? How will you make it SMART?
Will it sing to you at night or light up only when dark?
Or will it feed your dog when you are not at home?
Kids will:
Learn the engineering design process for product design
Ideate, brainstorm what makes a toy fun and SMART ?
Learn about simple machines and fundamentals of Robotics
Coding fundamentals
Build circuits with motors and sensors to design and build exciting SMART TOY with Micro:bit that can Move on command or light up in dark or make sounds - You Decide!

What will you learn?
In the Iterative design thinking approach, Campers will:
